Hyderabad – A lesser-known cultural legacy in its transition
About RMZ Foundation
RMZ Foundation is a contemporary art institution founded in 2025 by Anu Menda, built on the premise that art belongs in the world, not apart from it. Over the past decade, the foundation has collected over 65 sculptural works by leading Indian and international artists, spanning five continents, alongside a track record of international placements. These works are embedded within the built environment, extending art into everyday life.
The Foundation’s programme extends beyond collection-building to institutional partnerships, long-term investment in emerging artistic practices, including RMZF Platform Commission, commitment to women artists, and international placements. With a growing global footprint across London, South Africa, and Asia, the Foundation is a pivotal voice within the evolving discourse of the Global South in contemporary art.
In its next phase, RMZ Foundation is consolidating a multi-city institutional framework that aligns curatorial depth, public engagement, and cross-cultural exchange, shaping how contemporary art is experienced, produced, and understood.
Our Mission
RMZ Foundation’s mission is to empower society, democratise art and support all communities with innovation, positive change, and sustainable solutions to social and economic challenges. Thereby shaping a resilient tomorrow.
